Producer on the rise on the new French electro scene, BLV started getting attention on Soundcloud with his record-busting remixes for Nelly Furtado, Rihanna and 2Pac. He quickly went on to produce his own tracks before writing the instrumental for one of the biggest hits of 2015, ‘On Verra’ by French rapper Nekfeu. The single was certified triple diamond with more than 180 million plays, a nomination to the “French Grammy Awards” and the prize SACEM of the most streamed song. He was picked to remix many international artists, including Imagine Dragons, LP or BØRNS, before releasing his first EP ‘Suave’ which entered the iTunes charts at #5 and totted up millions of plays. He reconnects with his first loves, groovy rhythmic tracks peppered with vocal samples. Collaborations kept pouring in and as the versatile artist that he is, BLV boasts extraordinary chameleonic skills. He produced singles for artists of all backgrounds as Broken Back (‘The Sooner The Better’), Mai Lan (‘Vampire’) and Isha (‘Rien’) and he travels across the world to write songs. He released ‘Warrior’ last summer, a single that totted up 2 million aggregated streams along with a meaningful music video shot in Thailand. In the spring of 2018, BLV unveils ‘Badunkadunk’, a pop and sensual title cut for the summer (note: American expression used to define the voluptuous curvature of a feminine rump). A single with colorful and dancing arrangements that seduces the audience and climbs quickly at the top of the club rankings. He is also spotted by the french superstar youtube talent Cyprien who puts him in the spotlight in his short film ‘Lunaire’. Things are accelerating. The video of ‘Badunkadunk’ quickly accumulates several million views. The humorous staging and luscious forms of her heroine do not leave you indifferent and arouse thousands of comments. BLV takes off at the end of April with its EP 6 tracks ‘Chrysalide’. A project produced between Paris and Los Angeles with singular vocal guests such as haunting Mai Lan presents on the title ‘We Can Be’ alongside Jay Novus or Carla Katz on ‘Know Ya’. On the stage side, after having played at the Solidays festival, on the Champs-Elysées for Printemps Solidaire and in Parisian clubs, BLV will soon be performing live to present its new project.
