A clear “YES” it was. Joe won eight Grammy Awards and produced albums of U2, Alanis Morissette, Elton John, Jason Mraz and many more.. Joe Chiccarelli: I was immediately struck by Romy’s voice. It was so powerful, passionate and professional. It was very, very impressive. Then they sent me two or three songs including Breathe and I instantly went – wow, these guys really got something unique going on! I was really impressed with it. The amount of support Romi Cage received made clear people had faith in their talent and trust in this unique chance. Within only a month and a half they got the needed € 70.000,- together by gifts from over 350 sponsors from all over the world. Even before having recorded a thing the performed as a support act for Dutch famous band Bløf and played live on the first episode of Radio Veronica’s show “Countdown Café”. In the mean time Romi Cage has returned from Los Angeles. The album is finished, recorded in Sunset Sound Studios, Hollywood featuring musicians like Sean Hurley (Bass player i.a. John Mayer ), Victor Indrizzo (drummer i.a. Alanis Morissette), Roger Manning (keys i.a. Beck) and David Levita (guitarist i.a. Sara Bareilles). It was mastered in New York by Emily Lazar (i.a. Beyonce, Bon Jovi).
