Lead single "Soak Up the Sun" peaked at #1 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and #17 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming one of her biggest hits since "All I Wanna Do". C'mon, C'mon debuted at #2 on the UK Album Chart and on the Billboard 200, with first-week sales of 185,000 copies in the United States. The album has been certified Platinum in the U.S. and Japan, selling 2.1 million units in the U.S. as of January 2008.
