While certainly not a top roundup of Dusty Springfield's prime '60s output, Just Dusty does offer up a fine mix of relatively obscure ballads and soul-infused sides. Comprised mostly of cuts made around the time of Springfield's classic Dusty in Memphis album, this 10-track collection finds the Brit singer turning in stellar renditions of classics by Burt Bacharach, Leon Huff, Ray Charles, and Holland, Dozier & Holland. Featuring big band, orchestral, and combo backdrops, the record includes such highlights as "All Cried Out," "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself," "Summer Is Over," and "Don't You Know." Probably best suited for the die-hard Dusty Springfield fan.
