Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager is the second studio album by American recording artist Kid Cudi, released November 9, 2010 under GOOD Music and Universal Motown. Cudi was initially working on a compilation album titled Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution, before scrapping the project to work on the second installation to his Man on the Moon series. The album was preceded by the lead singles "Erase Me" and "Mr. Rager".
Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 169,000 copies during its first week of release. Upon its release, the album received generally positive reviews from music critics. On July 26, 2012, it was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, for shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States.
