Rising house DJ and producer ATFC - aka 28-year-old Aydin Hasirci - has emerged as the latest addition to the list of famous Old Skoolers. The OSN was first tipped off about Hasirci's Bournemouth Uni roots by IDJ magazine's Music Editor, Matt Anniss - himself an Old Skooler. And after further investigation, the OSN can confirm Anniss' tip-off to be spot on. Hasirci, whose moniker stands for Aydin The Funki Chile, has been spinning vinyl for around fourteen years and owns his own sound production company, Onephatdeeva Productions. His most famous release to date is 'In and Out of My Life' - basically Fatboy Slim's 'Right here, Right Now' with a vocal. It reached number 11 in the UK pop charts back in 1999, and earned Hasirci an apperance on Top Of The Pops. His follow-up, 'Bad Habit', made it into the Top 20. After completing a degree at Bournemouth University, Hasirci worked on Bournemouth-based dance music radio station The NRG (since renamed The Fire). He also played at the famous Bump 'N' Hustle nights, and became a resident at long-gone Gardening Club, near Bournemouth railway station, before deciding to move back to London.
