In 2000, the unheralded British band Wood burst onto AAA radio with the catchy single “Stay You.” Led by vocalist and songwriter James Maddock, the band was everything that’s right about British music. Presently, James Maddock lives in New York and maintains a Myspace page. He has signed to Razor and Tie Music Publishing and released an EP. Aaron Comess, drummer for the Spin Doctors serves as part of his backing band.
