A Fine Day to Exit is an album by the British alternative rock band Anathema. It was released on 9 October 2001 through Music For Nations. The drummer John Douglas came up with half of the songs. He wrote "Pressure", "Looking Outside Inside", "Panic", the title track and the hidden acoustic track at the end of "Temporary Peace" called "In The Dog's House". It is the last album with bassist Dave Pybus, and the first with keyboardist Les Smith and backeup singer Lee Douglas. It is also the last album featuring guitarist Daniel Cavanagh until his departure in 2002; however he returned the following year and was again a part of the line-up for the following album, A Natural Disaster.
