There is no question that if Bobby Darin were still alive today, he would be an enormous star, alongside Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Andy Williams and other 50s Rat Packers. During his all too brief career, Darin had rock & roll hits, including "Splish Splash" and "Dream Lover" (number 1 and number 18 in the UK charts respectively) and classic versions of "Mack the Knife" and "Beyond the Sea" (charting at 1 and 8 respectively). He also touched on country, folk and show tunes on the way.
