Jay Reaper, Skits Vicious, formed D.O.D (Duo Of Darkness) in 1999. Dopey Rotten joined in [year unknown] after which they changed the name into Dope D.O.D. The group gained international notoriety towards the end of 2011 and early 2012 by promotion of their video "What Happened". As of November 2012 the video has over 10 Million views on YouTube. In 2011 Dope D.O.D. was an opening performer for both Korn and Limp Bizkit. On 27th december 2012 Dope D.O.D. was the opening performer for Snoop Dogg in Groningen. Dope D.O.D. is a winner of the 2013 European Border Breakers Awards. The European Border Breakers Awards honour the best new music acts in Europe. The award ceremony took place at the Eurosonic Noorderslag music festival in Groningen (NL). On the 6th of February, Dope D.O.D. released the song "Rocket" on their official Youtube channel.
